Biography

Ernie started his career with Strathclyde Juniors before joining Falkirk in 1946. He was freed from Borockville in July 1949, at which time he signed for Kilmarnock, thereafter signing for United. He made just one appearance and was released to join Leith Athletic in 1954, before ending his playing days in the Glasgow Welfare League.
