Timeline

  • Four players — McLaren, Dunlop, Robertson and Massie were making their home debut. Unfortunately even this didn't prevent us going down somewhat unluckily to the Hampden Amateurs. Queen's led by a goal at the interval. Sandy Stephen equalised as United got on top in the second period. Unfortunately two late snap goals took the visitors through to victory, leaving United without a win in their last seven outings.
