Match report

Abercorn had to acknowledge defeat from Dundee Hibs, and their unbeaten home record for the season. It was a grand performance from the Hibs. If the Hibs had not a monopoly of play throughout, they were at least the masters of the situation in the finer points of the game. The half time score was 1-0 to Abercorn. O'Gara equalised early in the second half with a fine shot, and the winning goal came from Waterson, who very cutely beat Rollo in a clear run in.

Hibs have a stern defence, Monteith, Wesh and Miller being difficult to beat. Miller played a sound game. The halves are an untirimg trio, Robertson at centre being particularly conspicuous. Forwards O'Gara, Collins and Marshall were best.
