Match Report
Hearts third visit of the season to Tannadice produced exactly the same result as the other two - a 1-0 victory for the lads in tangerinel
With nothing at stake both sides contained a fair smattering of young players. In the United line-up Craig Easton started his first ever match for the first team, whilst Paul Walker was in the side at kick-off for the first time this season.
Free from the normal pressure pot of Premier points, the game flowed with both defences generally coming out on top. Hearts found one chink in the United rearguard when John Robertson
found himself in front of goal only to be foiled by Sieb Dykstras pointblank save.
However,it was Gary McSwegan who made more of less of an opening turning to fire home from 25 yards via the inside of the post.
