Match Report
Hibs, who had been dismantled in mid-week by Oesters of Sweden, suffered an early blow at Tannadice when Gordon Wallace shot home from Paul Sturrock's cross. We failed to cash in on our superiority for the remainder of the first half and ten minutes into the second half a mixup between Andy Rolland and Alan Forsyth gave Bobby Smith the chance to put Hibs level.
Substitute Torn McAdam proved our match-winner. Gordon Wallace's one two with Tom McAdam let the latter in to score from a seemingly offside position. The entire Hibs team challenged the linesman, but this hotly disputed goal proved decisive and maintained our pole position in the Premier Division after our least convincing performance of the season
