Match Report
The season proper hadn't got underway and Clubs were generally involved in pre-season friendlies, but in our case we had an early taste of competitive action in our one and only entry in the Anglo Scottish Cup.
Aberdeen were our opponents at Tannadice for the first leg. The Dons had several new faces in their side and not unexpectedly struggled to find a rhythm. We on the other hand lacked penetration in front of goal and had only a close range effort by Henry Hall in the 51st minute to take the defend at Pittodrie. As events proved it wasn't enough, because Aberdeen won the return 3-1.
