Match Report
In the last game of the season, Rab Hart gave East Stirling a sixth minute lead, however it wasn't to last long. Duncan Hutchison equalised four minutes later, and by half-time United were 5-1 up with further goals from Doug Anderson, Hutchison, George Ross and Bobby Gardiner.
The second half continued with United banging the goals in, with Arthur Milne three consecutive goals for his hat-trick. In the last twenty minutes Jacky Kay grabbed a brace, Ross scored his second and Hutchison completed his own hat-trick for a 12-1 victory - United's record League victory which still stands today.
