Match Report

United bounced back from defeat away to Championship rivals Raith Rovers with a 3-1 home win against Queen's Park to hold their one point lead at the top of the division.

Jim Goodwin rang the changes following the Starks Park defeat, with Liam Grimshaw losing his spot at right-back to youngster Miller Thomson. Glenn Middleton also dropped to the bench, leaving a spot open for Matty Cudjoe, and Ross Graham, who will feel aggrieved after a solid spell acting as deputy, made way for the returning Declan Gallagher.

United started out as the aggressors and looked like they would expect little trouble from their Glasgow visitors. They were dealt a blow after just nine minutes though when an injury forced David Wotherspoon to withdraw in place of Kai Fotheringham.
