Match Report
Whilst the new ecru kit didn't make a winning debut, the unbeaten record when wearing our third kit continued. On balance, we should have have won all three points. After a first half in which each keeper was only seriously troubled once, we stepped up a gear after the break.
Westwater blocked a Robbie Winters header with his legs and
Craig Robertson twice denied Kjell Olofsson. No luck either for Maurice Malpas or Siggi Jonsson, starting a game for the first time. Both ended the afternoon in hospital. The United skipper to get a head knock checked out and the Icelander to see the full extent of a knee injury after he had been stretchered off.
