Match Report

For the second time this season, we went down heavily at Ibrox in the league, but there were never three goals between the teams. Indeed, up until that deadly one-two blast immediately prior to the interval, we looked the more likely side.

Kjell Olofsson had given us the lead when he raced on to a Lars Zetterlund through ball. The Ibrox faithful getting restless until Laudrup buried a free-kick from 20 yards and the Dane then immediately set up Alex Cleland's header that put his former colleagues behind. It was only chasing an equaliser late in the game that afforded Negri his late double to put a flattering complexion on the final scoreline.
