Biography
'Daly' (forename unknown) was a West of Scotland junior player used at centre half during United's Second Division winning season in 1928/29. While he was noted to have been involved in the squad over a few weeks, his one and only game came against Alloa Athletic at Tannadice, during which he was said to have "showed promise" alongside John Bain and Patsy Deuchar.
