A former youth player with Tottenham Hotspur, Kudus had played for a number of lower league English clubs on loan, as well as St Johnstone, before signing for United on a three year deal after a spell on trial during the pre-season of 2013-14.
Playing mostly with the Under-20s in his first season, Kudus made just one appearance under manager Jackie McNamara as a substitute before being sent out on loan to Conference South side Boreham Wood for the remainder of the campaign. The following season, he moved on loan to Cowdenbeath on a five month deal.
