Biography
Raymond was one of a number of youngsters from Celtic Boys Club brought to Tannadice by manager Jim McLean in the summer of 1977, along with Ralph Milne, Gerry Lesslie, Derek Murray and Ray Farningham. He played often in the reserves, but never made a competitive appearance for United.
He left for Brechin City in 1980, before moving on to Forfar Athletic in 1982. He spent just short of ten years in the first team at Station Park, before returning to Glebe Park in 1991. In 1994 he signed for Cove Rangers where he finished his career.
