A former Manchester United youth, Ollie's first professional contract was with Cardiff City, having joined their under-23 squad in September 2020. His first team debut came during the 2021-22 season, playing for the EFL Championship side in league and FA Cup matches, but for 2022-23 he remained a player primarily with the Welsh side's development squads. Ollie also represented Wales at several youth levels and in 2022 was called up to the senior squad.

During the summer of 2023, Ollie was taken on loan at United on a season-long deal.
