  • East Stirling ran out deserved 3-1 winders over Hibs at Merchiston Park, with a large crowd watching on. First blood went to East Stirling with Millan scoring a beauty after Thomson hadntwice brought Tullis to his knees. The latter player before the interval was successful in increasing the lead. After the interval Thomson and Millan continued to impress for the home side with Thomson eventually scoring a third. Hibs tried hard to get back into the match but the home side defended strongly. Before the end Hibs eventually pulled one back with Gibson netting.
