Biography

Jimmy was with Blantyre Celtic when he made his first appearance for United as a trialist. He then appears to have joined Celtic but signed for United on a free transfer. Jimmy was a regular in the side in season 1954-55 and re-signed for the following season, but was released in October 1955, signing for Brechin City
