Biography

Eddie signed from local junior side Osborne. He made his debut as a trialist and then signed to become a regular until he was called up for national service in December 1955. During his national service, he managed several games whilst on leave and also spent some time on loan at Norwich City. He played frequently after his demob but was allowed to join Arbroath in February 1959 on a free transfer.
