Biography

Andrew was signed from Our Boys Blairgowrie. In a Forfarshire Cup tie against Dundee on 6th April 1912 the player became infamous through no fault of his. After the match Dundee lodged a protest claiming that he was ineligible. The clubs became embroiled in a public war of words, the outcome of which saw Dundee Hibs scratch from the competition and withdraw from the Forfarshire Association. Andrew was harshly punished with a six month ban and played just twice more before he left.
