Biography

George signed for United during season 1920-21 when United played in the semi professional Central League and hardly missed a game over that campaign, including the Club's Qualifying Cup matches. He left in May 1921 to join Dundee.

Having played latterly for Fulham, Third Lanark and Providence in New Jersey, USA, he returned home but was sadly killed in an accident during a warehouse demolition in 1935.
