Biography

Having previously played with local junior side Dundee Celtic, George signed up with Dundee Hibs during season 1920-21. He played consistently at right full back for the Club in the semi-professional "Central League" as well as the Qualifying Cup ties, and hardly missed a game over that campaign. He left in May 1921 to join Dundee.

Having played latterly for Fulham, Third Lanark and Providence in New Jersey, USA, he returned home but was sadly killed in an accident during a warehouse demolition in 1935.
